Mr. Adesegun Labinjo has been suspended from the APC for engaging in impersonation, misrepresentation of the party, and defamation of party leaders. The APC CDC leadership, upon the recommendation of APC USA, has deemed it necessary to suspend Mr. Adesegun Labinjo with immediate effect.
The reasons for the suspension are as follows:
Firstly, it has been discovered that Mr. Adesegun Labinjo has been falsely presenting himself as a Professor while he is, in fact, a registered nurse and RN. This misrepresentation has brought shame to the party, and Mr. Adesegun Labinjo has been declared unfit for office by the party leadership.
Secondly, Mr. Adesegun Labinjo falsely declared himself as the CDC chairman, which is a blatant misrepresentation of his position. This false declaration is a clear violation of due process and the constitution of the party.
Thirdly, Mr. Adesegun Labinjo issued a defamatory press release to defame the authentic APC CDC executives. This act of defamation is completely unacceptable, and the party leadership has taken a strong stance against it.
Fourthly, Mr. Adesegun Labinjo’s publication was a tissue of lies and misrepresentation, and this behavior is not acceptable within the party.
Fifthly, Mr. Adesegun Labinjo conducted an illegal election without the presence of the National Working Committee of the party. This illegal election was declared null and void by the party leadership.
Sixthly, the authentic Chairman of APC USA and a member of the CDC recognized by the party is Otunba Tai Balofin.
Seventhly, Mr. Adesegun Labinjo has been given 14 days to respond to the National Working Committee of the party, APC CDC, and APC USA in defense of the allegations. Failure to respond within the given time frame will result in his expulsion from the party.
